Instructional Designer / eLearning Developer

This role requires the ability to apply your knowledge and passion for learning and technology to the ever-evolving health care industry. You must be able to proactively develop in-depth knowledge of the HealthEdge software product suite and translate that into learning solutions for technical (e.g. software developers, and technical analysts), business analysts and end user audiences. You must also be able to combine solid design and rapid development of eLearning training courses and instructor-led classes.

Required Experience

This position requires at least 2 years of proven experience demonstrating the following skills and abilities:

  • Understanding structured writing techniques, modular content development and the instructional development lifecycle (analyzing needs through evaluating, and maintaining courses)
  • Collaborating with other members of the curriculum development and training team to brainstorm, problem-solve, and review each other's work
  • Working with subject matter experts on other teams who provide knowledge transfer( to enable appropriate course content and lab scenarios with functional results), review your work, and the product management team
  • Manage course development projects including scoping the required resources and timeline and meeting project timelines with quality results
  • Produce quality course material (including course design documents, course outlines, course descriptions, presentation slides, diagrams, lab exercises, example code, instructor guides, lab setup guides, and job aids, assessments
  • Design sophisticated measurement instruments and create advanced learning activities questions for quizzes and certification exams
  • Create and use standard development process, tools and templates
  • Demonstrate aptitude in learning and utilizing emerging technologies
  • Use a variety of authoring, eLearning, and multimedia tools to create storyboards/scripts and production-ready content for video or Web-based training programs and advising on production
  • A track record of designing and creating compelling, comprehensive training curriculum for audiences that include customers, employees, and technical software implementation partners
  • Strong communication, writing, design, and project management skills
