Rob Gillette / Chief Executive Officer
Rob Gillette founded HealthEdge after nearly thirty years as an innovator in software and technology. Gillette is also the CEO of Click4Care, provider of the leading care management software platform. Gillette was the original CTO at Callidus Software (NASDAQ: CALD), the leading provider of Sales Performance Management solutions. He has also held leadership positions at Sybase, Comsat, Evolve Software and Shoppers Express, the world’s first web-based grocery shopping service. Gillette’s experience spans both large and small companies in the areas of healthcare, enterprise and financial applications, business intelligence, telecom and content management. A graduate of Vassar College, he is a primary author of Physical Database Design for Sybase SQL Server, Prentice-Hall, 1995.
Ray Desrochers / Chief Operating Officer
Ray Desrochers is a senior technology and business executive responsible for leading HealthEdge’s day-to-day operations and for ensuring the successful growth of the business. Prior to HealthEdge, he served as Vice President of Development at Amicore, where he led the design and creation of a new suite of hosted electronic medical record and physician practice management solutions. Before Amicore, Ray was a Worldwide Vice President at Keyware, where he was responsible for creating a new product strategy and vision and for successfully delivering their next-generation authentication platform and applications. Ray’s past experience also includes executive roles at Anchorsilk, where he was responsible for building a new organization and a hosted e-commerce product suite, and at Webhire, where he was part of the management team that led the company through a successful IPO. Ray has been a frequent speaker at technology events and conferences around the world.
Brad Desmarais / Chief Financial Officer
Brad joined the company in April 2006. Prior to HealthEdge, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Kurzweil Educational Systems where he helped scale the business profitably and execute business strategy, leading to the successful sale of the business to Cambium Learning. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Finance at Sound Vision, a venture-backed, digital imaging software and semiconductor company. Brad has also been corporate controller at Dragon Systems, Inc., a multinational voice-recognition software company, where he helped turn around and ultimately sell the company to a larger European competitor. Prior to that, at Renaissance Worldwide, he held various management roles in accounting, reporting and ERP implementation as the company went public and grew from $75 million in revenue to $750 million. Brad started his career with five years of audit and tax work at Deloitte & Touche in Boston. Brad earned a Master of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Holy Cross College.
Matthew Kuntz, Ph.D. / Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Kuntz is Chief Technology Officer of HealthEdge, and possesses an in-depth knowledge of its software products. Before joining HealthEdge, Dr. Kuntz was Product Architect and Principal Technical Lead at deNovis. In this role, Dr. Kuntz was responsible for key aspects of the deNovis architecture, including web services, claims performance, event notification, financial transactions, and data versioning. He led development of the finance, enrollment, provider, care management, and claims subsystems. Prior to joining deNovis, Dr. Kuntz was Architect at WorldStreet Corporation where he designed and built a scalable, secure architecture for collaboration within the financial services industry. Dr. Kuntz holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Cornell University and graduated Summa Cum Laude in Physics from Amherst College.
Tim Herlehy / Senior Vice President, Sales
Tim joined the company in August 2009. He is responsible for leading the sales organization and increasing HealthEdge’s market share. Before joining HealthEdge, Tim was senior vice president of sales at ConnectYourCare, a subsidiary of Express Scripts. In this role, he built and managed a sales team that marketed benefits technology and consumer directed healthcare services to employers. Prior to ConnectYourCare, Tim was chief sales officer and vice president of sales, marketing and business development at Lighthouse1, where he managed the sales team and drove sales of administrative solutions and consulting services to payors of various types and sizes. Before Lighthouse1, Tim held leadership positions at several other leading organizations, including MBI Benefits, McKesson, MediVation, Apria Healthcare and G.D. Searle & Company.
Jeff Daly / Vice President, Services
Jeff Daly has an extensive track record in the delivery of services to healthcare payers and providers alike. Prior to HealthEdge, he was part of the founding management team at NaviMedix, Inc., a successful venture backed enterprise focused on the delivery of products and services to streamline web-based interactions between providers and their trading partner constituents. While at NaviMedix, Mr. Daly served as Vice President of Services and was responsible for building a highly reliable and successful services delivery organization from the ground up. Mr. Daly also ran the company’s claims processing line of business, which included the delivery of products and services that significantly reduced payer’s claims processing costs.
Mr. Daly brings to HealthEdge a host of successes and experiences in both developing and managing the delivery of system solutions that drive operational and strategic success for healthcare organizations. He has lead successful and complex system integration and deployment projects with large payers including Independence Blue Cross, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Net, and Aetna. Additionally, Mr. Daly has worked in various leadership roles at Healthsource, Inc., Tufts Associated Health Plans, and the Health Care Services Division of Keane, Inc.
Mr. Daly earned his BS in Computer Science from Assumption College.
