Rob Gillette / Chief Executive Officer

Rob Gillette founded HealthEdge after nearly thirty years as an innovator in software and technology. Gillette is also the CEO of Click4Care, provider of the leading care management software platform. Gillette was the original CTO at Callidus Software (NASDAQ: CALD), the leading provider of Sales Performance Management solutions. He has also held leadership positions at Sybase, Comsat, Evolve Software and Shoppers Express, the world's first web-based grocery shopping service. Gillette's experience spans both large and small companies in the areas of healthcare, enterprise and financial applications, business intelligence, telecom and content management. A graduate of Vassar College, he is a primary author of Physical Database Design for Sybase SQL Server, Prentice-Hall, 1995.

Ray Desrochers / Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Ray Desrochers is a senior technology and business executive responsible for ensuring the successful growth of the company. Prior to HealthEdge, he served as Vice President of Development at Amicore, where he led the design and creation of a new suite of hosted electronic medical record and physician practice management solutions. Before Amicore, Ray was a Worldwide Vice President at Keyware, where he was responsible for creating a new product strategy and vision, and for successfully delivering their next-generation authentication platform and applications to the market. Ray’s past experience also includes executive roles at Anchorsilk, where he was responsible for launching a new organization and a hosted e-commerce product suite, and at Webhire, where he was part of the management team that led the company through a successful IPO. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Ray has been a frequent speaker at technology events and conferences around the world.

Brad Desmarais / Chief Financial Officer

Brad joined the company in April 2006. Prior to HealthEdge, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Kurzweil Educational Systems where he helped scale the business profitably and execute business strategy, leading to the successful sale of the business to Cambium Learning. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Finance at Sound Vision, a venture-backed, digital imaging software and semiconductor company. Brad has also been corporate controller at Dragon Systems, Inc., a multinational voice-recognition software company, where he helped turn around and ultimately sell the company to a larger European competitor. Prior to that, at Renaissance Worldwide, he held various management roles in accounting, reporting and ERP implementation as the company went public and grew from $75 million in revenue to $750 million. Brad started his career with five years of audit and tax work at Deloitte & Touche in Boston. Brad earned a Master of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Holy Cross College.

Matthew Kuntz, Ph.D. / Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Kuntz is Chief Technology Officer of HealthEdge, and possesses an in-depth knowledge of its software products. Before joining HealthEdge, Dr. Kuntz was Product Architect and Principal Technical Lead at deNovis. In this role, Dr. Kuntz was responsible for key aspects of the deNovis architecture, including web services, claims performance, event notification, financial transactions, and data versioning. He led development of the finance, enrollment, provider, care management, and claims subsystems. Prior to joining deNovis, Dr. Kuntz was Architect at WorldStreet Corporation where he designed and built a scalable, secure architecture for collaboration within the financial services industry. Dr. Kuntz holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Cornell University and graduated Summa Cum Laude in Physics from Amherst College.

Jeff Daly / Senior Vice President, Account Management

Jeff is responsible for leading HealthEdge’s account management function, leveraging his many years of experience working closely with leading healthcare payor and provider organizations. Prior to joining HealthEdge, Jeff was part of the founding management team at NaviNet, a successful venture-backed organization that delivers products and services that enable streamlined, web-based interactions between providers and their trading partners. While at NaviNet, Jeff was responsible for building a world-class services delivery organization, and for leading a successful claim processing business unit that delivered significant cost savings to NaviNet customers. Prior to NaviNet, Jeff held leadership roles at Healthsource, Tufts Health Plans, and the Healthcare Services Division of Keane. During his career, Jeff has led a number of successful and complex system integration and deployment projects for several large payors, including Independence Blue Cross, Highmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Health Net, and Aetna. Jeff holds a BS in Computer Science from Assumption College.

Dean Vassiliou / Senior Vice President, Professional Services

Dean is responsible for leading HealthEdge’s professional services organization, and for overseeing the successful deployment of the HealthRules platform. He brings to HealthEdge many years of experience building and leading a number of world-class services organizations, and a solid track record deploying complex, enterprise-class products. Before joining HealthEdge, Dean was Vice President of Global Professional Services at Softscape, where he was responsible for both the company’s worldwide professional services organization and its offshore development teams. Prior to Softscape, Dean served as Senior Vice President of Professional Services at Salary.com, where he led the company’s human capital management consulting, customer support, pre-sales operations, and enterprise software implementation teams. Dean has also held leadership roles at organizations including 4DataLink, Valaran, and Lodestar Corporation. Dean holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford.

Gil Benghiat / Vice President of Engineering

Gil is responsible for leading HealthEdge’s software engineering organization, and for overseeing the development, testing, documentation and support of the HealthRules product suite. He brings to HealthEdge many years of experience building and operating world-class engineering organizations, and a solid track record of delivering cutting-edge, enterprise-class software products to the market. Before joining HealthEdge, Gil was Vice President of Engineering at Phreesia, where he was responsible for the development of a healthcare provider management system. Prior to Phreesia, Gil served as Vice President of Engineering at LeapFrogRx, where he led the development of a next-generation analytics offering for pharmaceutical companies. Gil has also held leadership positions at Relicore, Phase Forward, NetCentric, and Sybase. Gil holds an MS in Computer Science from Stanford University.
