HealthEdge adds Arik Hill as Vice President of Customer Support

Seasoned executive brings customer perspective to the position, ensuring a superior customer experience during the company’s continued record growth

February 20, 2013 – HealthEdge®, provider of the only integrated financial, administrative and clinical platform for healthcare payors, today announced that Arik Hill has joined the company as Vice President of Customer Support. Hill joins HealthEdge as the company continues its record growth, with payors overwhelmingly choosing the HealthRules® product suite to reduce costs, engage members, support next-generation healthcare business models and achieve regulatory compliance. Hill is responsible for managing support across the entire HealthEdge customer base, ensuring that each and every customer continues to have a world-class experience with the company’s award-winning products and services.

Hill joined HealthEdge following his firsthand experience with the company. He was responsible for choosing and implementing the HealthRules platform at FirstCare Health Plans, where he served as Chief Information Officer (CIO). He cites the company’s entrepreneurial environment, its focus on meeting the unique needs of the payor community and its flexible, end-to-end product suite as key considerations for making the move to HealthEdge.

At FirstCare Health Plans, Hill was responsible for the overall planning, direction and execution of technology activities and information technology services, including the enterprise-wide implementation of HealthRules. Additionally, he selected and deployed the Click4Care care management solution, which is now part of the HealthRules product suite. Prior to FirstCare, Hill held positions including CIO of Catholic Healthcare Services and Practice Healthcare Consulting Manager at KPMG LLP, among others. In each of these roles, Hill was responsible for clinical, operational and revenue performance improvements.

Hill earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from Oregon State University’s School of Public Health with a concentration in Operations Management and Business.
