HealthEdge Appoints Bill Jollie Senior Vice President of Professional Services
Seasoned health plan executive joins company to position the organization for next stage of growth
Burlington, MA, July 16, 2013—HealthEdge®, provider of the only integrated financial, administrative and clinical platform for healthcare payors, today announced the appointment of Bill Jollie to Senior Vice President of the company’s Professional Services department. Bill brings more than 30 years’ experience building, leading and growing successful organizations, and has an extensive background in project management, analytics and outcomes measurement. He joins HealthEdge from WEA Trust, Wisconsin’s second-largest health insurance company, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Health Care Service and Value. In this role, Bill selected and implemented the HealthRules® product suite throughout the organization. As Senior Vice President of Professional Services at HealthEdge, Bill will ensure superior service and support for customers implementing the HealthRules product suite.

At WEA Trust, Bill was responsible for implementing an entirely new business model based on the HealthRules product suite. With HealthRules, Bill completely transformed the organization’s reimbursement methodology as well as the care management, benefits administration and customer services functions, resulting in a significant increase in member satisfaction and growth. Prior to WEA Trust, Bill served as Chief Operating Officer at technology company TASCET, Inc., where he oversaw the design, budget, contract and operations functions for the organization. Bill has also held senior positions at Physicians Plus Insurance Company, a nationally-recognized managed care organization, insurance company PACC Health Plans (now QualMed Oregon), and Rocky Mountain Health Care Corporation, among others. Bill holds a B.A. in philosophy and English from Grinnell College and a M.A. in literature from the University of Toronto. He also received certification in Health Care Financial Planning and Control from the Center for Advanced Study in Health Care Fiscal Management at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Graduate School of Business.
